Singing (Vokal)
The singing art (vocal) department serves as a single source that plays a very important role in training vocalists.
- In the singing art (vocal) specialty, students are trained to delve deeply into the subtleties of singing, to get acquainted with world classics, to learn the formation of a singing voice and the rules of correct singing, to develop and improve their singing skills. They also train professionals who are practically prepared, have mastered their profession, constantly strive to expand and deepen their knowledge and horizons, are able to work harmoniously with the public, implement programs of concerts in various genres of vocal, academic music, as well as theater and literature, and teach children to sing songs in groups and solo. Methods of performing at concerts and public speaking, working in children's art, music schools and general secondary schools, teaching students, providing them with quality education so that they become useful people to society, preparing them for concerts, exams, competitions and maintaining work documents are taught.
The specialty of singing (vocal) provides for obtaining the qualifications of a singer, choir artist, and music teacher of general educational institutions in accordance with the State Classifier of Secondary Vocational Education Professions of Turkmenistan. Specialists are trained to work as a music teacher in children's music, art and general schools, music teachers in preschool educational institutions, as a singer in choir groups related to the field of culture, and as a performer in performing arts.
The term of study for the specialty of singing is 3 years and 10 months.
