It is one of the most necessary departments in the concert-performance experience of the Turkmen state special music school. The teachers and students of this department not only perform in the chamber and symphony orchestras of the music school, but also actively perform in various music groups of the capital. For half a century, its talented graduates have won various competitions and are part of the symphony orchestra.
He specializes in stringed instruments such as violin, viola, cello, double bass and harp. The duration of the study is 3 years and 10 months.

Graduates of the department are given the job of an orchestra artist, children's music teacher, art school teacher. After completing their studies, children are given the right to work in music, art schools, symphonic, chamber and related musical instrument orchestras operating in institutions belonging to the Culture system.
