Choral conducting
The Department of "Choir Conducting" was established in 1946, but it has been working since the 50s of the last century.
It is a one-level structure in which training is carried out in the areas of vocational training, it is the first level of secondary vocational education and it is secondary vocational education that allows to carry out all types of professional work. Professional level of a secondary specialist working with choral ensembles, who studies the peculiarities of the art of conducting and the legalities of this art, the whole range of questions related to the form and content of musical works.
Graduates of the profession of choral conducting are provided with a career as a choral artist, leader of a choral group, teacher of children's music, art schools. Professionals are trained to work as children's music, choir teacher in art schools, music teacher in general education schools, preschool institutions, music in the cultural system, concertmaster in choral groups, choir singer, performing arts. The duration of the study is 3 years and 10 months.
