Day of National Music of Turkmenistan to be held within the framework of the 7th Tsinandal Festival
Turkmenistan is represented at the 7th Tsinandal Festival of Classical Music, which opened in Georgia on September 4.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on September 9, the festival will feature musical works by world-famous Turkmen composer Nury Halmammedov. The day of September 13 will be entirely dedicated to the national music of Turkmenistan, and the concert program will feature works by famous Turkmen composers.Musicians from the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva represent their country as part of the Pan-Caucasian Youth Orchestra, which is the heart of the festival.
On the sidelines of the festival, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Seyitmammedov met with the Minister of Culture T. Rukhadze, the General Director of the festival D. Sakvarelidze, as well as with the organizers of the festival. The Ambassador also met with Turkmen musicians, highly appreciated their participation in the festival and wished them further creative success.
