The premiere of the play "When the Young Soul Shines" will take place at the Pushkin Theatre in Ashgabat

On September 20, the State Russian Drama Theatre named after A.S. Pushkin will host the premiere of the musical play "When the Young Soul Shines" based on the play by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Bilbil Mamedov. This was reported by "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".The production about the life of modern Turkmen youth, and, of course, about love, also touches on the problems of children and parents.

Playwright Bilbil Mamedov wrote the play 20 years ago. The play was successfully performed on the stages of many theaters across the country. The Pushkin Theater team did a lot of work to adapt the play for a modern audience: the head of the literary department Maksat Hudaygulyev translated the text of the play into Russian; the translation of the poems - and there are quite a lot of them in the play - was done by director Kiyas Gurbanov.Music for the poems was selected by musical designer Begench Kakayev, actors Alina Andronova and Svyatoslav Lavin. Choreographer Maral Hemragulyeva staged the dances with the active participation of actor Andrei Pavlov.The play has so many songs and dances that it can rightfully be considered a musical, the source notes.
