A celebration was held in London to mark Turkmenistan's Independence Day.

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in the United Kingdom organized a ceremony and exhibition in honor of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence in London. The festive event, held on September 26, was attended by Turkmen students studying at universities in the United Kingdom, Turkmen citizens living in London, members of the Galkynysh Association, the British branch of the Humanitarian Association of the World Turkmen, as well as representatives of the Embassy. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In his speech, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Y. Seryaev reported on the great achievements achieved in the country over the years of independence, the remarkable 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the representative international forum to be held in Ashgabat in December 2025, as well as important international events taking place in the country during the International Year of Peace and Confidence.

A book exhibition dedicated to Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and the country's current successes, as well as a photo exhibition reflecting the country's achievements, were organized as part of the ceremony. A video film dedicated to the development of Turkmenistan was shown to the guests. Turkmen folk songs were also performed on the national dutar musical instrument, which was greeted with great enthusiasm.
