An international conference dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Confidence was held in Bishkek. The conference was attended by heads of diplomatic missions of foreign countries and international organizations in Kyrgyzstan, representatives of government agencies, representatives of the scientific community, political scientists and journalists.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the speeches, it was noted that at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov put forward a number of initiatives aimed at strengthening international cooperation and confidence.
The conference participants noted that the International Year of Peace and Confidence opens up new opportunities for developing global dialogue and expanding mutual cooperation in the interests of peace, stability and prosperity.
