TRT Avaz presented films about Magtymguly and the city of Arkadag in Ashgabat
The Ashgabat Cinema hosted the premiere screening of two documentaries from the Turkish television channel TRT Avaz: "The Wise Turkmen Magtymguly" and "The City of the Future Arkadag." The event was organized by the Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) office in Turkmenistan and TRT Avaz.
The screening was attended by diplomats, university professors and students, media representatives, residents and guests of the capital.
The first film is dedicated to the life and work of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy. The film demonstrates how his ideas of justice, brotherhood, and humanism remain relevant in the XXI century.
The second film tells the story of Arkadag, the region's first "smart" city, which embodies cutting-edge technology, environmental standards, and sustainable development principles.
"For 16 years, TRT Avaz has been fulfilling an important mission – to be the voice and spiritual bridge between the Turkic peoples," said TRT Avaz Coordinator Yucel Kılıçkaya.As reported by the newspaper "Neutral Turkmenistan," within the framework of the TRT delegation's visit, representatives of the Turkish television channel met with student journalists at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The guests discussed their work and answered questions from the future media professionals.
The partnership between the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography and the TRT corporation encompasses the exchange of journalistic experience and the implementation of joint cultural and educational projects. Plans include the production of new documentaries, the creation of programs for digital platforms, and the organization of professional internships for young professionals, the publication notes.
