Recently, a methodological conference on the methodology of teaching the subject “Music Informatics” was held among teachers of the “History and Theory of Music” departments of special music and art schools, organized by the Magtymguly Karliev Special School of Arts in Dashoguz.
In the conditions of current globalization, technological transformations are one of the main tools of political, economic, and cultural developments. In this regard, the transition of all areas to a digital system is an integral part of the scientifically substantiated reform strategy of the Honorable President. Today, the transition to a digital system serves as the key to solving priority tasks of sustainable development.
The ability to use information technology in various professions is becoming an increasingly necessary requirement in modern conditions. Note editors also play a special role in the work of a musician, have fairly wide opportunities and are in demand by representatives of all musical professions. Note editors are widely used by composers and arrangers to solve creative problems: performing musicians use them to create various types of works and rework known works, and master musicians use musical information in methodological and scientific works. Music editors are used in various fields of work - in professional music education and creativity, in the film industry, television, theater, concerts, in music publishing organizations and libraries.
Music informatics is a part of informatics, which is the study of the use of information technologies in the production of sound and music.
During the conference, teachers took turns speaking and making their suggestions. In the future, they aimed to further improve the program of the “Music Informatics” course and write textbooks and manuals on the subject.
