A lesson was held
On October 24, as part of the weekly program of the “Pop Art” department of the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory, a lesson on “The History of the Origin of Pop Art in Turkmenistan” was held at our school, organized by the head of the department, Mammetjumaeva Maysa Bayramovna. During this lesson, the history of the origin and development of pop art in Turkmenistan was reviewed, and it was told that since the beginning of the last century, and more precisely, on the territory of the USSR, pop ensembles, orchestras, jazz groups first appeared in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities in 1927-1935. Then, it was told that this art gradually came to the Central Asian republics, and the first amateur groups were formed, and young talented boys and girls were selected and accepted into these groups.
During the lesson, an interesting conversation was held about the emergence of the first professional group, that is, the Turkmen State Dance Group, the role of the main pillars of the first pop orchestra, singers: S.Atayev, G.Hümmedova, R.Rozyeva, the connection of singer Myrat Sadykov with the “Gunesh” ensemble, the history of the formation of that ensemble, the mastery, agility of the ensemble’s drummer Rishat Shafiyev, and the emergence of jazz-rock music of that time through extensive video recordings. In addition, in 1976, after the departure of the leader of the “Gunesh” ensemble Oleg Korolyov from the ensemble due to family circumstances and the arrival of singer Shamammet Byashimov, the development of the ensemble and concert recordings were shown. At that time, the works of Turkmen composers: N.Khalmamedov, Ch.Nurymov began to be performed in a jazz style, and over time, the “Gunesh” ensemble transformed into the “Dessan” ensemble, in which singers Atabay Charygulyev, Akmuhammet Saparov, Gulshat Gurdova, Annaberdi Atdanov, and pop groups were mentioned.
At the end of the lesson, they expressed their gratitude to our Hero Arkadag and our Hero Serdar from Arkadag for the opportunities they created, and wished them good health and long life.
