Under the leadership of our Honorable President, one of the priorities in our country is to improve education as the basis for the spiritual, social, economic and cultural development of society, and great efforts are being made to educate and train young people with broad-mindedness, capable of managing innovative technologies. Our Honored Hero Serdar notes: “We highly respect the services of our compatriots who have earned the lofty title of “teacher” in ensuring the sovereignty of our beloved Motherland, which is equal to the crown of our Head, and the happiness of the people, in bringing to the attention of our younger generations the wonderful achievements achieved in our country, and in inspiring our energetic, knowledgeable, educated, creative and constructive youth to lofty goals.” These deeply meaningful and proud words inspire pedagogical workers to always be in creative pursuit. A teaching methodology conference was held on January 23, 2026 at the Danatar Ovezov Turkmen State Specialized Music School under the Maya Kuliyeva Turkmen National Conservatory to discuss issues such as further developing the education system, successfully implementing the goals set in the "Revival of a New Era of a Powerful State: The National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052", improving curricula in accordance with national principles and world best practices, providing basic curricula, textbooks and manuals, exchanging experience in using modern methods, and continuing the path of mentorship in our national professional art. Teachers from secondary professional music and art schools in Arkadag city and Ahal, Balkan, Mary, Lebap, and Dashoguz provinces actively participated in the teaching methodology conference. The speakers at the conference gave speeches on topics such as “Issues aimed at improving curricula”, “The importance of music theory courses in curricula”, “Improving curricula in accordance with the needs of the time”, “Issues of practical courses in curricula”, “Proposals and notes on the curricula of specialized music and art schools”, “Presenting new projects on curricula”.
