Wind and percussion musical instruments

The Department of Wind and Percussion Musical Instruments has been operating since the very first days of the music school. The most productive and fruitful years of this department's work fall on the 60s-70s.
Currently, specialists in the flute, oboe, trumpet, tuba, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trombone, saxophone, xylophone, and drums are trained in the specialty "Wind and Percussion Musical Instruments". The duration of the course is 3 years and 10 months.
In the conditions of modern development, with the increasing demands on cultural and mass events and creative directions in the field of music and music, the main tasks of the specialist are to bring this direction of culture to a high level, to develop the national and classical characteristics of cultural and mass events and concert events.
A specialist must be a person with thorough scientific and practical training, who has mastered his profession, who seeks to constantly expand and deepen his knowledge and vision, and who is able to work harmoniously with the public.  The main task of the department is to teach students the basics of general humanitarian subjects, the basics of general and theoretical subjects, to teach children to perform group musical works, to become professional teachers in art and music schools, to teach professional subjects in accordance with modern methods and to educate them to become useful people to society, to perform at concerts and perform them publicly, to organize methodological work related to music, to conduct musical works for wind instrument groups, to evaluate the performance and artistic level of the work, as well as to prepare students for concerts, exams, competitions and to maintain working documents.
Specialists are trained to teach professional subjects in children's music and art secondary schools in accordance with modern methods, to work in cultural institutions, music creative groups, cultural centers under the national economy, to manage cultural and recreational institutions in the art and education sector, and to organize cultural and mass events in the country, to perform in performing arts.
Graduates of the department are awarded the qualifications of orchestra artist, orchestra leader, teacher of children's music and art schools.  After completing their studies, they are given the right to work in children's orchestras operating in music and art schools, as well as in institutions related to the cultural sector.
