Stringed musical instruments
lThe Department of String Musical Instruments is one of the most indispensable departments in the concert and performing practice of the Turkmen State Special Music School. The teachers and students of this department perform not only in the chamber and symphony orchestras of the music school, but also actively perform in various musical ensembles of the capital. For half a century, talented graduates have become winners of various competitions and are part of the symphony orchestra.
The Department of String Musical Instruments trains students in the violin, viola, cello, double bass and harp. The duration of study is 3 years and 10 months.
The specialist will be able to please the public, be practically prepared, systematically and continuously improve his theoretical knowledge and practical skills, appropriately use the information accumulated in his field in his work, teach professional subjects in accordance with modern methods, perform at concerts, perform for the public, organize solo concerts of his class and students, perform on his own musical instrument along with the piano.

Quartet (i.e. a group of four musicians performing on the main musical instruments of the orchestra), chamber ensemble (a small group performing chamber music) can be an illustrator of various orchestral groups.
Graduates of the department are awarded the qualification of orchestra artist, teacher of children's music, art schools. After completing their studies, they are given the right to work in symphonic, chamber and related musical instrument orchestras operating in children's music, art schools, and institutions of the Ministry of Culture.
