The piano
The piano specialty has been operating since the first day of the school's opening. In the piano specialty, students learn the interconnection of subjects, information about the piano musical instrument, opera claviers, symphonic scores, chamber-instrumental, vocal works, and their transportation. They learn to solve various performance problems, independently and objectively evaluate the artistic properties of a musical work, read notes along with musical literacy, develop hand technique, and become a high-level musician, artist, performer of the piano musical instrument, soloist and with ensembles and groups consisting of various musical instruments, singers with different voices.
After graduating from this department, graduates are awarded the profession of concertmaster, teacher of children's music, art schools. Piano specialists are trained to work as music teachers in district, city, and regional secondary vocational schools, in children's music, art, and general education secondary schools, and in preschool kindergartens, as musicians, accompanists, and concertmasters in musical groups, and to work in performing arts. The duration of the course is 3 years and 10 months.
