Department of Pop Art
The Pop Art specialty of our school was opened in 2022. “Pop Art” trains specialists in (by type) flute, trumpet, clarinet, trombone, saxophone, xylophone, tambourine, violin, piano, accordion, bass guitar, guitar, kanun, bagpipes, cello, double bass musical instruments. The main task of the specialist is to bring this direction of modern musical art to a high level, to develop its national and classical characteristics.
A specialist should be a person who has mastered his profession, constantly seeks to expand and deepen his knowledge and horizons, and is able to work harmoniously with the public. The main tasks of the department are to teach students the basics of general and theoretical subjects, teach children to perform group musical works, teach children professional subjects in art and music schools according to modern methods and provide them with a quality upbringing so that they become useful people to society, perform at concerts and perform in public, organize methodological work related to music, perform musical works for pop groups, evaluate the performance and artistic level of the work, as well as prepare students for concerts and competitions.
Specialists are trained to teach professional subjects in children's music and art secondary schools according to modern methods, work in cultural institutions, music creative groups, cultural centers under the national economy, manage cultural and recreational institutions in the field of art and education, organize cultural and mass events in the country, perform in performing arts.
Graduates of the department are awarded the profession of artist of a pop orchestra, leader of a pop orchestra, teacher of children's music and art schools. Graduates of the specialty "Pop Art" (by genre) are given the right to work as teachers in children's music and art schools, music teachers in secondary vocational and general education secondary schools, illustrators, concertmasters, soloists of musical instruments in artistic groups in institutions related to the cultural sector, leaders and musicians of mobile pop orchestras, and in recording studios. The duration of study is 3 years and 10 months.
