SEPTEMBER 1 - EDUCATION AND STUDENTS' DAY
Every year on September 1, Turkmenistan celebrates the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth. In all regions of the country, festive events are widely held.
The first bells ringing in educational institutions heralded the beginning of the new 2025-2026 academic year. On the occasion of such a wonderful occasion, a festive event was held in our Turkmen State Specialized Music School named after Danyatar Ovezov at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kulieva with great joy.
Currently, in the era of the Revival of the New Era of the Sovereign State,
under the wise leadership of our Hero of Arkadagly Serdar,
Our independent, eternally neutral Motherland is experiencing great progress in all areas.
Including, it is achieving remarkable milestones and remarkable achievements in the cultural sphere. These are the gratifying results of the unprecedented efforts being made at the state level to educate young people in our country as knowledgeable, healthy, spiritual professionals, and perfect individuals.
Since 2007, in our country, Student Youth Day has been included, and the celebration of this remarkable date has become more widespread. This wonderful holiday is also reflected in Article 81 of the Labor Code of Turkmenistan, which came into force on July 1, 2009, as “Knowledge and Student Youth Day”. This remarkable date is a unique holiday, which is celebrated in our country as “Knowledge and Student Youth Day”, and internationally as “Knowledge Day”.
As the national leader noted, “Getting an education, studying a profession, and growing up physically and mentally healthy are the ancient national ideals of our people”. Based on this principle, all conditions are created to provide the younger generation with modern education. For this, our happy student youth have no bounds in their joy for our Hero Arkadag, our Hero Serdar of Arkadag, who continues the path of their father with dignity.
Under the leadership of our esteemed President, based on the positive experience gained in the modernization and improvement of the scientific and educational systems, as well as the tasks set out in the “Revival of the New Epoch of a Powerful State: National Program for Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022-2052”, large-scale reforms in the education and culture sector are continuing. To this end, relying on scientific and technological developments, new technologies, and advanced innovations, broad opportunities are created for our lucky youth to receive a high-quality education, become masters of their chosen professions, and be brought up in the high spirit of patriotism and humanism.
Young people can access and use relevant information on their chosen profession at any time. The active introduction of digital educational tools into educational work creates favorable conditions for each student to independently master the subjects they are studying, in accordance with the requirements of the curriculum.
Currently, raising the cultural system to a high level and training qualified young people and skilled specialists who can excel in various fields of science is the foundation for the comprehensive development of the country. In this regard, thanks to the unparalleled efforts of our esteemed President, a number of opportunities and positive conditions are created in our country for the younger generation and young musicians to acquire world-class skills in the art of singing and mastery of various musical instruments. Taking advantage of such wonderful opportunities, our school's teachers and young specialists are working tirelessly to provide the younger generation with high-quality education and upbringing.
May the life of our hero Arkadag, our hero Serdar from Arkadag, who is making all efforts to educate a developed, intelligent, and capable youth, improve the digital education system and widely introduce it into our lives, be blessed with success!
